San Diego beer week has come and gone but fortunately for us Ryan was able to capture the highlights of this years closing Beer Garden Festival at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. This is the official closing event of San Diego Beer Week. This event brings together the best of San Diego craft beer with food from amazing local chefs. Each admission includes unlimited tasters of beer and food. Each brewery will be paired with a local chef to create a truly unique and delicious beer and food pairing event. This is easily one of the best if not the best American brewed Saison on the market. Bright, crisp and Belgian in all the right places. Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is.
