Can you age a beer that’s less than 7% ABV? Alaskan Brewing surly proved those who thought otherwise wrong (pointing at myself).
This is their Smoked Porter from 2008 that I found at Whole Foods Market in San Francisco. One of the best of its style in my opinion. I have had this fresh previously, but this aged version has enhanced its strengths. I would say this beer is what made me become a believer in cellaring/aging beer. After having it for the first time, I decided it was imperative that I shared this beer with you.
